There is No Plan "B"

Don't wait any longer!

The Bible tells us: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23.  We really do know this is true.  I can list my sins and so can you. The  hard truth is: "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God  is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

We all know we are going to die but this  is referring to spiritual death.  This means spending eternity in hell  with no chance to be with God.  But the same sentence offers hope.   God has given us the gift of Jesus.  Will you accept this gift? Here  is the way to eternal life: Romans 10:9-10 -- "If you confess with your  mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from  the dead, you will be saved;  for with the heart a person believes,  resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting  in salvation."

To believe and confess means a complete change of heart from you being in charge of you, to God being in charge of you.

Revelation  3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice  and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he  with Me." Jesus is always ready to come into  your life and be your Lord.  He waits to be invited.

Now is the time to turn your life over to God.  Here is a prayer that expresses the things I have been writing about.

Dear  God, I am sorry for my sins.  I believe Jesus died for me and was  resurrected. I accept His sacrifice on my behalf.  I turn my will over  to the will of God and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of my  life.

Thank you for hearing my prayer and giving me Your life eternal.  Amen

If you prayed that prayer and meant it in your heart, then Jesus came into your life.  Now for some more good news.

2  Corinthians  5:17 "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new  creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come."     You are a completely new person.  All the old is gone.

Do  you really have eternal life now?  Yes! Read what John wrote in his  first epistle.  1 John 5:11-13 "And the testimony is this, that God has  given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.  He who has the Son  has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the  life.  These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the  Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

This is the first day of your eternal life.  Why not start to get acquainted with your Lord.  Read the Gospel book of John.

If you do not have a Bible, let me know. I'll get you one. Seek out a church in your communtiy where the Word of God is preached.  Call several and ask whoever  answers if they preach a "born again" message.  No matter who picks up  the phone if they don't know what you are talking about --- they don't  preach the Word.
